Marketing and Communications

GMEN will provide training that allows Resurgence recipients to market their products and services via an integrated, online training platform that provides state of the art access and growth industry-focused business planning tools, business assessments, business simulations, and financial literacy tools. Go Daddy’s first year will be free for Resurgence recipients. GMEN also provides personalized consulting on marketing and communication tools development.

More Funding and Financial Growth

GMEN will help recipients to determine the best use of their Invest Atlanta Resurgence Grant funding. GMEN will also provide guidance to Resurgence recipients by directing them to the right financial resource such as businesses with financial institutions, the SBA, CDFIs, Investors, FinTech and other financial service providers such as SBA, ACE, Village Micro Fund, AWBI, Invest Atlanta, etc. for working capital loans and/or to pay employees.

Human Resources and Workforce Development

GMEN will partner with the city of Atlanta to help Resurgence recipients develop capacity to employ people for jobs created through these businesses and will facilitate up to one year of free HR services for Resurgence recipients with a national human resources provider to handle the back office support for payroll, benefits, compliance, and hiring for Resurgence grantees. Legal Counsel and Expert Support

Provide special expertise in legal issues regarding licensing and contracting. GMEN provides training to minority-owned businesses to pursue contracts from the City of Atlanta. One of our goals for this project will be to increase the number of secondary level businesses who can pursue city contracts. GMEN also has a partnership with Pro Bono Partnerships of Atlanta. The attorney on board also helps our clients with intellectual property issues.
